Last Class chat

Today is the last class chat of this MA, I can’t believe it’s been two years or even  that it is the end,but I guess it was going to happen.

I’ve passed my MA,just don’t know the marks yet.

Building structures

Been developing structures and testing them both in the real world and the computer environment.

Robotics-Lego Mindstorm block

Spent the whole day programming Lego Mindstorm block (think a small lego block ,programmable with wheels and a power supply)to do a range of things,detect collsion,read light using a sensor, rotation and also a number of programming fuction such as “if ,then and else”,”forever” and “while”.So the day started early 9am (7.30 if you include the set time for breakfast but I made it by 8 am)on a Sunday,but it was highly challenging and exciting and I wish there was more,but that’s it ,for Robots,unless you do another longer course.

I’m in london, have had a wonder in the show,will be going back to invigilate  later,so get a better look then,go to go get a cup of tea,no tea all day,must be why I got a headache.
